What is wrong with my Java Fern

Hey, I have some java fern, where the leaves are starting to look weird, as if it had algue or something, can anyone help?

Thats not java farn, that anubias and algae on anubias is common. keep the plant in the shade and itll be fine.

Agree. Anubias is very slow-growing, among plants, and this plus its tougher leaves seems to attract algae, especially brush and beard algae, readily. Anubias grows best in indirect light, such as when shaded by floating or overhanging plants.

ok, i didnt know that, i guess i will put some hornworth floating on top or something. Thanks for the help guys.
