I make a small impression in the sand and set the bulb in it... If its growing and has already rooted, don't move it.

Ok, yes it is growing and I see roots coming out and down towards the sand. So will leave it alone. So in the future is it best to make impression in the substrate for the bulb?

Apparently you should not make an indentation for this bulb. It should only rest on the substrate or it will rot.

Definately don't want to bury it... I just make a shallow impression to get the bulb down more, maybe 1/3-1/2 inch. I might be wrong, I've only had one, but it did reproduce for me. Theres probably no benefit to burying Or making an impression.
