what type of plant is this? So far not impressed it keeps dropping needles all over the bottom of the tank

OOOH!!! Finally a question I know the answer to. It's Hornwort. I pulled all of mine outta my big tank. it was kicking my backside with the maintenance.

LOL Im glad I made you feel good......Ya had already pulled 3 bunchs out when that picture was taken, and have pulled that last bunch out. Took me for ever to clean up all the little needles.

xray you should probably separate it a bit instead of keeping it in a bunch. Maybe only keep 1 or 2 pieces in that corner. Also if you don't have enough lighting or nutrients I think it does this....

Did you just get it? It doesn't look like it's in the best condition....

ya I had just gotten it, got it along with 3 potted plants. I took it out anyways, really didnt look good with the other plants in the tank

I went through the same thing. When I bought mine they were bunched with rubber bands and lead weights. Right now they're rotting under my big tank. Yucky little things.
