Water Sprite Dieing?

I have 2 Water Sprites, 1 in my 25 gallon and 1 in my 10 gallon. Well the one in the 10 Gallon is dieing, it's like its melting?? It just keeps getting smaller, I don't understand it? I add Seachem's Flourish Comprehensive once a week, and my lighting is 2 13 watt mini compact Fluorescent bulbs. My light are on a timer for 10 1/2 hrs a day. Anyone have any ideas??

Also what is the pH and GH, and have either changed recently? For that matter, has anything changed in the water, light, temperature, etc? Changes can sometimes cause this plant to take a rest and even die back; I see it when I move it from one tank to another.

Another point is the plant does need a vegetative rest period. No plant can continue to grow non-stop, it has to slow down and recharge periodically.

Byron.

I've had the plants for about 4 weeks now, The pH is 7.5. I don't know the GH, and there has been no changes to that tank for a while.

Likely still adjusting. Just leave it and it should rebound. Everything sounds fine (light and nutrients).
