Restocking a 30-gallon

Hi everyone! I'm restocking my 30-gallon tank with plants, and I would like some suggestions.
I would like hardy plants that look nice, and are easy to prune.
Hardscape suggestions are also welcome.

If you could provide a bit more info on your tank and water, it will make it easier. Describe the light (be specific). And do you know the GH (general hardness) of your water [you can get this from the water people]? And what fish?

No point in our suggesting highlight/soft water plants if you have low light, hard water and plant-eating fish.

Byron.
