Ok, thanks for the advice. I just thought I'd ask about the HC with the ferts n' all.
But since you'd recommend against it, I'd go with the eleocharis.
- Is eleocharis in general just a slow growing plant, or does it require special conditions to grow rapidly? As you said

Fast growing is relative... With your carbon and ferts, assuming you have no algae problems, the hairgrass should do well. I don't like to call plants fast or slow.

I'd actually suggest you get a little hc if you want to try it. Its hard to predict what will happen.. I've had tanks with identical lights, ferts, etc but drastically different growth. Its worth a shot.

I just think hairgrass would probably bethe best shot.. It might die, grow slowly, or fill in in a month, but I think its the best shot for the look you want. W
