Question on Red Melon Sword.

So I got one of these in 29g tank. I put it in the back right corner since I thought swords get pretty tall. Most of it's new leafs only seem to be about 3 inches long.

Do these plants grow larger, or should I not have put it in the back?

I thought swords grew large, but not sure about this particular species.

Thx.

It's considered a mid-ground to background plant so I wouldn't want to place it in the front. I'd leave it where it is if I were in your shoes... but be patient bc it's a slow-growing plant.
