Propagating sword

So i have 2 dwarf swords, 1 of them has a runner and there is 2 plants forming. 1 has about 1 and a half inch roots already coming down and 3 big leafs and 1 small and the other is still small. I was wondering how do u cut them off or when do u cut them off to replant them. I just dont want to snip the wrong part off :(

You can leave the inflorescence with the adventitious plants or once the plantlets are sufficient in size you can separate them and plant them. When they have a cluster of leaves and maybe 2 inch roots is a good time. Gently pull the plant down the inflorescence (toward the base) and the adventitious plants will easily come free. If you remove all of the adventitious plants, then cut the inflorescence down at the base where it emerges from the crown, since it has no further use or function.
