I watched 3 of them today (the non-ramshorns) as they trekked across the tank. Between the glass and the abyss that is my Java Moss (about 10"). I noticed none of them made any attempt to burrow into the sand. From what I've read of MTS, that's something they do, no? So, my guess is that I have pond snails and ramshorns. | Correct, although a lot of the very small MTS I have seem to have eschewed their substrate-burrowing instincts and do trek around as you've described. However, their trumpet shaped shells are especially conspicuous when they're out in the open. Sounds like we're leaning toward Pond snails. Any pics of these yet?
