planting ambulia bunches

so i bought some ambulia (Limnophila indica) which arrived bunched (about 7 or 8 stems) together with a weighted wrap. should I plant the whole bunch or break them up? ive read websites that say bunching them will kill the lower leaves, and others say they need to be bunched. what do yall think?

Yes can only back this up. If you keep them bunched together tight, the lower parts won't see no light and die off. Space them out a lil apart like 0.5-1" and you'll be set

I just got some ambulia last week... it has grown 3" in 6 days. It is a great replacement for Hornwort, Cabomba, or any other fine leafed stem bunch plant.

Put about 2-3 (or however many it can do) on the weight tape about .5" apart then fold the tape over them in a line or a roll. Squeeze them carefully between the sides of the weight tape so that they are spaced as you like. Then just push the weight into the gravel. If you have short tape then do 1-2 together, using scissors to cut the tape to get the weight for several bunches out of each original piece of weight tape.

i did as angel suggested. broke up the bunch and planted them a bout 1" from each other in a row rather than a bunch, and it looks really good! hopefully the thinner ones will grow out, but for now so far = so good. thanks guys :)

so far all the plants save for the two Java Fern went in my 20L female betta sorority :) ill do a pic spread when i get a few mins
