Plant leaves with fuzz algae

How can I get the fuzz algae off the plant leaves? I have 4 otto cats and they can't keep up with the stuff. I even tried leaving the light off for 2 days. All I can do is scrub the algae off the tank but leaves are covered in it. Help!

Tank params:

20 gallon
3 Platys
8 Danios (I only asked for 6 but the store gave me 8!)
4 Ottos
Java Fern (does well)
Java Moss (does very well)
Anubias (assorted types, does ok)
Amazon Sword (It's not doing well)
Hornwort (does very well, but I don't let it get very long)
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nirate 5 ppm
Iron 1.5
PH 7.2
KH 5
CO2 9 (DIY injection)
Light 14W ColorMax + 14W 6700K, 10 hours/day
Temperature 80F
1.5 ml of Seachem Flourish added once per week

im assuming your problem is on your broad leaves of your "Amazon Sword?"
I would use a soft brushed toothbrush ( make sure its clean, no toothpaste or anything )
put your hand under the leaf and GENTLY rub the leaf with the brushes bristles, it should come right off. just make sure your gentle because remember the plants are "living things" too

Its mostly on the sword and Anubias plants, not as much on the ferns but some. Its pretty much growing on everything, tank glass, plants, gravel, heater, thermometer....

yea algae will grow because the light is present for so many hours, fortunatly plants will compete with algae. Is you tank by a window or recieve direct sunlight? ( that tends to excel the rate of which algae grows)
i personally would give a light brush to the plant leaves and clean them off.. you might have to do this every so ofter with the broader leaf plants (but i think its well worth it) watch when you clean that algae off, you'll reveal a bright green plant leaf

something else that may help is a 4-5 degree temp drop and cutting light time back to 8 hours a day.

I've cut the light back to 9 hours a day and moved the "on" time to 7:00am and off time to 4:00pm (the room is the warmest at that time due to sun light) and the algea is slowly disappearing! It definately is not as widespread as before.
