"permanent" pH/CO2 moniter, good or stay away?

Has anybody used these ph/CO2 monitors? Are they safe and accurate? I am worried that the reagent might evaporate and get into the fish tank. Also I wonder if they are as good as they claim why they are not mainstream? As in I have never seen one for sale at a store, they can only be ordered from China or Malaysia like the toys with the toxic paint. I like the idea, it would be much less work than using my API liquid test for ph every day.

I'm curious, why do you test for pH daily?

I recently put together a low-tech pressurized CO2 system. I am just keeping a close eye on it and making small adjustments. Maybe after a while I won’t need to check it so often but I glance at the thermometer every day, if I could check my pH just as easily why not. That is if I could do it without buying an $80 meter.

Although it has been a while, have used dupla CO2 Injection system. Still have them in Garage, the bottle, regulators and solenoid valve, etc. Cant seem to locate the controller though. It is probalbly the cost involved that most people dont use the auto injection system.
If have controller rather than monitor, should be able to run automatically with recalibrating the pen (probe) from time to time.

Exactly, the cheepest controler I have found is $120. I just spent $200 on everything else and I should really try to pace myself. But if you want cerianthus, maybe I could take that stuff off your hands. I could help you clean out the garage a little.
