I agree, the Common Pleco will attain more than a foot (if it has sufficient space to grow healthily). BN remain smaller, around 4 inches. Check our profile for info on the Bristlenose.
Rainbows are shoaling fish, and should be in a group of 5-6. Check their profile too, the info for the three we have listed so far applies in this matter.
