Lucky Bamboos as aquatic plants?

Really? How long have they been in your tank exactly?

I can't vouch for them completely. Two of the three stalks have died off completely. (Mainly because my Silver Dollars ate them down to the roots.) I had a stem break off from one, and it free floated around the tank perfectly fine. My last stalk has been in there for around 4 months now. I'll post a picture later, but you can see that the ends of the blades have been nibbled at, and the stem of one of the leaves is broken, but otherwise, the plant is healthy.

Actualy I have 5 bamboos that i bought from petco. They are totaly submerged and do well. I also have a long bamboo 1 that I got from a plant that was in my house. some of the leaves are in the waters, some are out, but it actualy growing more leaves and roots and does well. Don't be scared to try it out.

I was actually adding "lucky bamboo" too. I love planted tanks, but feel more safe going one plant at a time! It also fools the eye when some plants are real and some are not. Makes it very hard to tell.

I'd love to hear how it goes.
