Seems like I have always had Sd's with my hobby. I really like them. They are starting to come around, even right now we have company and they are sneaking out every now and then. I think they made a mistake and sent me a "hard bellied" Sd. They get 9"!! I'll try and find the video of my 55gal that I sold a few yrs ago and post it under that tank in my profile. The SD's got BIG. I can't imagine one getting 9" I may have to give that one away if it gets too big. But I have never had more than 4 at a time now I have 6 (bigger tank). I really wanted to get them about 2" or so but oh well. I ordered them online so I wasn't able to see what I was getting, but I'm real happy with them anyway. Quote:

My tank is also in the basement where it is quiet all day. They like that. Give your SD's some time. They'll come around and be a fun addition to your tank. Oh, and I'm going to give the Java Fern a whirl too | |
