Between the flakes, granulate and frozen you have there I'd feed one portion 1xday of one food and then the next day the other eg. Flakes one day, next day thawed out bloodworms, 3rd day granulates

Also offer the cories squished pea's cucumber, zuccini, squash ...and lemme tell ya some human shrimp smashed super thiny will be happily accepted by any & all fish out there......

frozen peas and squash work??? just smash the crap out of it? and dump it in???

the package on the bloodworms says I can feed right from the package......says thaw @ room temp (not using water)...

Well I use fresh pea's but yea frozen 1's thawed out and squish them a lil with a fork or so that the outer shell cracks some - My Cory's always been going CRAZY over that.

Squash they like as well BUT that's where my fish & I battle who gets it LOL nothing comes between me & my squash

Technically the cube would thaw out in the tank water yes....but any & all fish I ever had are RIGHT THERE when it comes to food and I just find frozen foods very unnatural so I just have lik 1/4 cup measuring cups I dip in each tank to get a lil tank water pop that cube in tehre and let it thaw out a few mins and then add it for the monsters.

Forgive my ignorance but what all do you house in your tank again I can't recall???

My 55g with 9 Albino Tigers 2 Kissing Gourami and 6 Cory cats get 1 cube (mine are about 0.5*0.5" cubes maybe lil smaller); same dose on the pretty well stocked Tetra tank.

In my case 1/2 of the small cube feeds 3 corys, 3 neons, 3 embers, 2 guppies & 1 betta (separate tank).

Wait, am I doing this wrong? I always feed my fish variety (flakes, granules, brine shrimp) but I feed them the variety everyday. I don't rotate, just put some of each in for feedings. I haven't ventured into trying frozen food yet (only freeze dried bloodworms and freeze dried brine shrimp. They rarely get the freeze dried bloodworms because smelling it sometimes give me an allergy attack). I'd be willing to try though, for sure. I saw that you defrost a cube in a bit of tank water then just pour it in the tank. I think with my 55g a full cube would be good.

+1 you can cut them in half's holding your hand over the cube using a sharp knife; just be CAREFUL with your fingers there!!!!

If the "mixed" amount of foods they're getting is not resulting in overfeeding then you're fine. Often when I watched people feed various diff things over the day they tent to over feed their fish thou.

Hmmm.....I dont think I'm overfeeding. How exactly would I know if I am? The water is always clear, no ammonia or NO2. The only food that sinks to the bottom are the sinking ones.
