Java Moss Wall Help Needed

I will be ordering Java Moss to make a moss wall for my tank. I have found awesome info. on how to make the wall but can't find any info. on how much moss to order. The wall measures 48" by 18". The seller lists the bags size as 10 x 15 cm. Any idea how much I would need to order? Thanks in advance.

You could always buy a bit more than you need and send some my way :) I can't find that stuff anywhere locally and still haven't popped my 'online plant purchase cherry' lol

Utricularia gibba would make a nice wall, and grows very quickly.

Did you ever post a link on how to make it?

You need to cover 864 square inches. What they are selling is 23.25 square inches.

So 864/23.25 = 37.16

So at least 37, you are probably talking about a whole heck of a lot of money =/

if you are wanting instant results then the above is the amount you will be spending. However, i doubt you have a bare bottom tank with no decor so you can deduct much of it due to that. Also depending on what filter you are using i wouldnt want it too close to my intake pipe unless you cover the intake with filter sponge or similar since it will clog the impellar. My bet is you will be looking around $15..... dont forget this stuff grows so spread it out and watch it fill the gaps in no time ! Good luck they can look great .
