Java Fern Plantlets

I bought a Java Fern just before Xmas and for some reason the plant never adjusted to my water. At the moment I have a lot of baby fern's coming off the plant, some over an inch big but I have no idea how I'm supposed to attach these to rocks/driftwood. I've heard of people using super glue to attach the roots and would just like to know if this is safe? Fishing line and rubber bands have never really worked for me so I'm open to suggestions :)

I use a piece of thread usually. It eventually comes loose but by that time it has usually grown into the wood.

Allow the plantlets to develop a bit then I usually wedge them in rock or wood crevices; at the small size this seems to work best. The cotton thread or fishing line will also work as lorax84 mentioned.

I have used fishing line, and wedging into crevices, but most uniquely - I have buried a portion of the plantlet's roots into my substrate, but not the entire plant. Leave the rhizome and at least a quarter inch of roots exposed. I wait about a week for them to grab hold of a few pieces of gravel. From there you can put it where ever you like as it now has its own personal anchor.

Now that seems like an easier way lol. Also quite clever I think I'm also going to try sticking them into crevices, possibly make my own holes in the wood too
