Yes I overlooked them. They weren't with the other ones for some reason but I have two now. Pricey little things @ $8.98 ea. I also picked up a Bright Effects 40W/10W daylight twisted light (model 296887) for $3.98 to see if it would fit in the hood, and it does. I also found a 40/10 watt GE daylight twin pack (model 85393) for $5.54 at Wal-Mart.

Great. Yeah they are a bit pricey but it will last a long time and to me it's worth the money just for the fact that it lights up slowly and gives the fish time to adjust to the light everyday. I love it.

Where the heck are you at?????? I buy these very same Bright effects in a 2pack here for something like $3 (in TN)????? And the normal twisted CFLs in a 6-pack cost me around $8-8.5

GEs are good too that's what I use on my larger tanks but for the small one's I can't seem to find the GE screw in one's here anyway (I used to back home thou).

1 Bright Effects light bulb in the one I posted on this thread is $8 something in PA. Angel, I remember you telling me how much you paid....talk about inflation! That's the suburbs of Philadelphia for ya!

Are you all serious what a rip off - Granted I know for fact that out in the stix here next to no one has tanks cause your most common pet will be a cow, goat etc but still that's like double the price...dang....

Just like 1 24" GE 20w bulb was $7. I think you can get a 2 pack for that price, right? Still, $14 was well worth replacing the lights to keep my new plants thriving

I think I'm going with the 7W/10W as long as the plants agree.
