I am looking for anyone who has hygrophilia tropical sunset and would be willing to sell me or part with some

I hope you realise this plant is illegal to sell or trade for two different reasons-

1, Tropica 'patented' this plant since it was developed by them. Any grower or seller without a liscense from them can be sued or arrested.

2. Hygrophila polysperma is banned for sell, trade, or reciept by the federal government. (Due to it being on the noxious weed list.)

I've never even heard of that first rule 0.o. Good thing they don't enforce that too much cuz I know a few of the plants I grow/sell have "tropica" in their name lol. Otherwise I would have to switch to selling really expensive plastic bags with free plants inside .

I *might* have some H. polysperma cuz it is a beautiful plant. Redchigh's 2nd point is spot on though. Not that I have ever done anything like that....

If you live in Florida or Texas or similar states you can go get some from your local lake or pond. It encourages invasive species removal...

Thanks for the reply. I quess I won't be seeing any of these plants in the local tropical fish store.

I thought I seen it grown years ago by Florida Aquatics. Since iit has been banned I will try and get a similar legal plant if possible.
