How much and what fertilizers to use?

OK so I have the following plants in the 32g:

2 different strands of hygrophilia polysperma;
1 hygrophilia difformis
1 Cryptocoryne undulata

I add Nutrafin Plant-Gro to the tank once a week (0.15% nitrogen, boron 0.0005%, copper 0.0005%, iron 0.26%, manganese 0.05%, molybdenum 0.0007%, zinc 0.003%).

I have regular gravel substrate, nothing added, no other layers, no under gravel filter.

Is this fertilizer adequate for my plants? Is it too much? Not enough? Any advice here is appreciated!

Pers if I was to start fert's, I'd use the recommended dose of the liquid fert's BUT I'd split it in 2x week. I donno how much you gotta use of this stuff, but let's say its reccomanding 30ml once a week, then i'd do 15 ml 2x week. Just makes more sense to me personally to have a more constand feeding going on rather then just ONCE.

But Hygrophiliagrow like weed anyway, so I'd not be too worried there

I think I read somewhere that you don't use ferts at all is that right Angel? What kind of substrate do you have?

I would gladly do away with the ferts but since my plants have always had it I'm afraid they may not do well without it... there was this one time I didn't use it for 2 weeks and one of my hygrophilias looked all sad and whimpy...

Yup true that is
Substrate: 2 tanks with gravel and one with Sand - That's it. (All former tanks were fine gravel but the cray tank)
And its not quite "correct" to say I have no fert's suggest my plants in any tanks never gotten no nutritious, then they'd not have developed into Jungles. They just had good water, good lights and other good things the fish left behind so from that aspect I "use" natural fert's if you will.

use seachems comprehensive fertalizer once a week and also nutrafin plant-gro sticks. one cap full of seachem once a week and then one plant fert stick once a year in the substrate
