this sounds weird but i was doing my weekly maintanance when i noticed an unusual, thin, floatin on my pennywort plant. I thought i wasa hari algaewhen ilooked further and saw more stalks coming out of it. Then i noticed small sacs attached to it. the sacs are shaped like a lima beanand have 3 long strands jutting out of the end. The only times i eersaw ANYTHING like this was a plant called bladderwort. Utricularia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://www.gardening-advisor.com/ima...dderwort.2.jpg
im so confused of to ho i got this plant in my tank in the first place! the last plant i bought was water wistria. any ideas? i dont have a pic of it since its small
The only thing I can think of is that the plant (the unidentified on bean-lookin one) must have gone through some sort of pollenation stage while in the tanks at the LFS you got it from. A seed from the plant attached itself to the bunch that you purchased, and you're now just seeing it break through its seed stage. I have no idea what it is. I've never seen anything like it from what you've described.
