Is it correct that Java Moss can float and still grow and stay alive? | Not sure on that mate, I haven't heard of anyone floating Java Moss. People tend to just have it either in a bunch somewhere in the tank for fry to grow in etc or they just attach it to something. If it says it can be floated then I guess it can. Not sure how pretty it would be though.. your better off getting a nice big chunk of Java Fern and attaching that so it grows near the surface, but I'll warn you now..... it'll get algae on it. the furry kind too, I have no end on mine where its not covered by the floating plants...
Full circle, what you need is something floating! pennywort is another plant you can float. See what the LFS has tomorrow and go from there. if you get Java Moss, just attach that to something...itll look nicer...trust me |
