Would it be safe to bring in some Duckweed from our campus pond and place it an aquarium?

Is very good way to introduce unwanted parasites to your tank. Even a good rinsing may not remove what could prove to be contributer of disease with fishes.

I wouldn't risk it for Duckweed- it becomes a pain in an aquarium... Trust me.

I had to fight ich, and that was a pain for a couple weeks... I've been trying to get rid of my Duckweed for 2 months!!
