Dracaena Sanderiana

i bought this plant from the local Petco and it was labeled as dracaena sanderiana or White Ribbon. i see nothing about it here and when i google it, i find that it is a verigated "lucky bamboo". it was sold as an aquarium plant and aside from a few of them being uprooted by my pleco, seems to be doing well (i've had it for 2 or 3 weeks). my fish do seem to be eating it a bit, though not as bad as they did to my (probably) giant vallisneria, which is down to about a centimeter tall now.

does anyone have any knowledge about this plant? does it need a lot of light/fertilizer/anything else?

Sorry it is not a aquatic plant. It will last several months before it dies but it will eventually die under water. If you like the plant best to take it out and plant it in a pot. I did the same thing with that plant and mondo grass. I don't know why petco and petsmart sells non-aquatic plants as aquatic but they do.

Agree on all counts. Keep a close eye on this, it may suddenly begin to rot and pollute the water.

not sure i'll have that problem, my swordtails (i'm guessing) have already eaten two entire leaves. i'll need to get some kind of container to move them to, before they die or get eaten all the way.
