diy c02

hey guys, i have a 29 gallon planted tank. i just recently set up my own c02 system (using the yeast/sugar method) and i am using a cigarette filter as the diffuser, and the bubbles are really tiny. i have read on other forums that it is very effective to let these bubbles flow into the intake of my filter, which will break them down and circulate the c02 throughout my tank. i have a aquaclear30 filter, i just want to make sure this is an effective way of circulating the c02, or if there is a better option out there. any feedback is appreciated! thank you
