The best thing I can tell you about it is to leave it alone once you have it planted. Root tabs directly under the base of the plant helped a ton with massive growth and fast growth. I trimmed mine down to nothing, litterally only the roots and the nubs of the stems and it grew back in less than a month to a much larger size. Lower light might keep it smaller but it IMHO, it is best as a midground to background plant in a large tank, something like a 35-75 gallon and would make a really nice centerpiece in either one. | Your post pretty much scared me.
