All are correct on the first being an Echinodorus. I'd be pretty certain it is the common "sword" which is usually named Echinodorus bleherae and is in pour profiles. Expect the leaves to grow very different once the plant is established; present leaves are emersed form.
The second plant--which I must say does remind me of mint too --is I suspect Hygrophila corymbosa. Light and nutrients can affect the appearance of this plant, as indeed many other aquarium plants, so one can't expect it to look like this or that photo. The leaf structure leads me to think Hygrophila. This too is in our profiles.
The sword will do well under moderate light. The Hygrophila needs more light, moderate to bright, so plant it in the open where it will receive the most direct light and hope for the best. I tried this plant in two tanks but have insufficient light and it slowly grew upward but the leaves only remained on the stems for the top couple of inches.
