I just wanted to publicly thank you and everyone else that gave me such great advice on my planted 55g tank. You are so knowlegeable!!!!

I have moved on to saltwater (which we were planning on doing a long time ago) I sort of used the 55g as a learning/stepping stone. I have 1 freshwater tank left, a 5g hex in my bedroom, but we are keeping it non planted so the lights don't have to be on when hubby is on midnights.

Anyways, just wanted to thank you again. I sold all the plants and a couple of my fish to a lady on Craigslist who was very happy with them and pleased at how big they were!

I agree byron is a huge help to anyone looking for help in the planted aquarium scene. Of which I've already learned so much thanks to him. Its always great when someone so knowelable on a subject is willing.... no not just willing but eager to help those that are newbies to a subject.

I agree what you guys are saying. He's been a big help and so has everyone else on this site. I love having a planted tank and want to do my other tank as well. its soo much nicer and I couldnt have done it without the help of Byron and others.

Thank you Byron also for your help and the quick responses on the different aquatic topics. I got my Bolivian Ram today and posted pictures on Freshwater Fish and Aquariums under the Cichlid section. Thanks again for the information on the Bolivian Ram.
