Brown Algae after adding lights!

That's just it though. I've done TONS of research and have been helping people on here with their questions. It's just that I'm inexperenced with plants and when adding the new bulb made all this brown stuff cover everything, I was like AHHH! What is wrong with my tank and how can I fix it! I felt like such a dodo when I found out what it was because 1) I didn't figure it out myself and 2) I've never even heard of this stuff! It's like I was out sick on algae day and then get blindsided with a pop quiz on it. Honestly, I know more about the breeding habits of apple snails than this! *head desk* I thought I had went over all the pertanant subjects there were for my tank. I shudder to think of what else I've missed
