I did buy a bunch of ghost shrimp to try to get rid of at least the black algae but I can only find about 4 of them today so I dont know where they went....either hiding or eaten by my fish....either way we will see how it goes.

Got to have running water, lots of fertlizers and the rocks need to be in direct sunlight. Indirect won't get it for you, I have only been able to get it grow green water if the rocks don't get direct sunlight.

Ghost shrimp won't eat beard algae--only amano (or algae eating shrimp)
