Okay! I (think) I am going on Sunday to get the driftwood. But if Juneuary keeps up we probably won't. We still need to build a stand for the tank, but my dads working at 5am and we need to find time. I'll probably get the plants and put them in my other tanks if its not set up

Whoa, before you buy, can you give us your specs for your tank? HC will not grow well in low light, Pygmy chain swords become a midground plant under low light. Anubias will shrink under high light, and Java Fern has a tendency to turn transparent under high light. Additionally if you get floating plants it will block light for your carpet plants which may result in taller and more sparse growth. We need to know your tank water parameters, ferts, and light before we can give you proper advice.

I have two 25 watt bulbs, will be keeping either shrimp or DP's. Is Flourish safe for them, because if so I will get that. pH will be a bit less then 7, and plants can survive the cycling process, right? I wont be getting them anytime soon though. I'm just posting to get rough ideas.

If I do order online on eBay, who is good to buy from? I live in Canada so it would be from ebay.ca.

Is the light fluorescent tube, or screw-in bulbs?

SC raised a good point; not all plants work together primarily due to light. But nutrients particularly CO2 can be a factor too if light is increased.

Which part of Canada? I've never ordered online, but I might have some suggestions. And plants will "cycle" a new setup in a sense; they assimilate ammonia directly, so with live plants there is virutally no cycle that is discernable.

They are screw in bulbs, more lights means they need more nutrients, right? Its the western half of Canada.

Light is fine, but avoid the fussy "carpet" plants, they might work but most likely not. Pygmy chain sword will be fine.

Here are two sources for plants. I can attest that Canadian Aquatics is reliable, i have bought fish from them in person (they are in Vancouver) and i have heard that they are reliable with mail order.
