Appropriate plants for my tank

I need some recommendations on plants. I have a 100 gal with the following inhabitants: 7 yoyo loaches, one pictus and will be adding my school of roseline barbs this Friday. Future inhabitants will be another group of loaches (most likely 5 polka dot loaches, a centerpiece fish (not sure what) and/or(?) another type of schooling fish.

Will someone suggest what type of plants would be the best to plant without being entirely trashed by my fish? I'll add whatever lighting that will be required by the plant suggestions.

Also, anyone know of the best place to order the plants from. All my LFS nearby have poor looking plants. There many choices online so I can't decide.

I have: java moss (stuck to my rocks), java fern (tied to some driftwood and growing nicely), hornwort, pygmy chain sword and water lettuce.

The java moss, java fern and hornwort seem to grow in just about any conditions at all. I have the pygmy chain sword under medium light. It's been growing slow but steady. I have some water lettuce under low light, and it's still alive but not thriving. The water lettuce under medium light is growing like a weed. I think I take a handful of it out every other day.

I don't use CO2 or dose ferts in any of my tanks.

A couple large Red Melon swords would work well and should stand up to most of the abuse the fish can dish out. One on each end would really give a focal point to the middle for the centerpiece fish once you get one. They are also easy to grow and will thrive in medium light, 150-200 for 100 gallon should have them thriving with some root tabs under them for nutrients.

Based on suggestions I was given here in this forum I have purchased new lighting for my tank.
My current set up came with marine lighting and I wanted a planted tank so new lights were ordered so my plants would love me.

The fixtures arrived today, a day early. (I love my Fed Ex driver!)
Just for fun I turned off the lighting in my office and turned on just one of the light fixtures. Holy Moly! It's nearly blinding. I know the plants are simply going to thrive with this new lighting but now I'm worried about my fish!
Are they going to be able to handle this incredible brightness?? What would be the best way to acclimate them? Am I worrying unnecessarily?
