I normally use Sweetaquatics, but they're closed down due to the cold weather. Anyone know of a website with similiar prices?

Have you tried mikeswetpets on ebay and aquabid? He's my go to source for amazing plants and he'll discount shipping on bundles of plants.

I've bought all of my plants here. The prices are nice, and they're pretty generous. I ordered 4 plants and they threw in 2 free ones. Not to mention on most of them it says "approx. 6 stems" On my plants I buy from there I usually end up with 8-13 stems.
I've never gotten a plant from there that died.

I just received my first order this week from AquariumPlants.com, and we are very pleased with the quality of the plants they sent to us. Excellent condition for each plant. Their process was super fast, shipping was 2nd Day Air UPS. They also have water checking items I nave not seen on other sites. I spoke with them on the phone, very professional and courteous to their customers. Told me I can call them as much as I like for information.

I've received three shipments from AquariumPlants.com and they were all in great condition and the plants were really healthy. I'd definitely recommend them.

I also just received an order from Aquariumplants.com and sadly, it just came at a bad time so I had to litterally toss the plants in my tank because I am dealing with a crisis with my dog. The plants however, were packed well and seemed to be healthy. I am hoping they can hold on until things calm down around here and I can take time to reposition them where I want them in the tank. A couple of the plants were smaller then I expected but they looked healthy so... I am sure they will grow.

I hope everything works out with your dog. Sounds like there are some tough times happening.
Many years ago we lost our dog, and it took us 12 years before we wanted to do it again. They just do not live long enough, 10-18 years max. It's too short. We have a few large parrots that will outlive all of us.
The good thing is we now have 3 dogs in our family, happy we are now.

A great place to get live plants is from your local aquarium club......google your state or look in the back of most aquarium magazine for a local club...usually you don't have to be a member to buy/sell and often even when the club isn't near you a member will....save on shipping, meet like minded folks, buy cheap plants and livestock that are already adapted to your area.....just a thought.....

I bought from them too. I've only ordered plants online once. Everything arrived well and alive, and yes on the stem plants I ordered two bunches, and received four so a nice bonus. There shipping is reasonable too since they use USPS Priority Mail instead of UPS 2nd Day Air. They are located in Arizona I believe, I'm in Massachusetts, they arrived in 2 days.

Mikeswetpets is I believe similar in shipping rates and I've heard a lot of good things about him. He didn't have Brazilian Pennywort so that's why I went with Planted Aquariums Central.
