55 gallon planted tank progress( for those who care)

Many amazing people have helped me get to where I am and without them and this site, I would be lost. To those people, Thanks. It's been a long trip, but I'm also there, so bare with me. I started this tank( the wrong way) a year ago. I just thought buying plant bulbs for my fixtures and fertizler would let me grow plants, WRONG! Today I've learned most of the do's and don't's.

Things that I've done:
Have my lighting up and running; fixture, bulbs, and timer
I have added plants, but still need to add more
I have my sand
I have my flourish comp.

Things I need to do

Make tops for my tank. This weekend I had a battle with some glass tops that I bought and it was decided, that I should just make my own out of plexiglass.
Add some driftwood, decor, etc
Add Fish. Here's what I plan to stock; 9 Black ruby barbs, 11 Rummy nose tetras, 1 Pearl Gourami, 6 Panda cories, 6 Harlequin rasboras, 10 Ghost shrimp, and 1 Zebra snail. Now, about the Harlequins, I already have four of them and I think I would be mean to return them, once the tank is beautifully done. As for my ph, is VERY soft so don't worry and if you don't believe me, ask Bryon. We went back and forth on me wanting to keep livebears.
Add more plants

Once this is done I will be done.

I'll post some pics later.

After you have uploaded the pics through manage attachments. Then click on the paper clip (its right above the box where you type). It will bring a drop down window of the attachments. You add one at a time and then type or all at once and put the space to type where you want.
