Definitely do not move the rock. Aside from hiding the cut end of the wood, there is a very good balance having it where it is. There is a lengthening of the overall tank achieved by this placement in conjunction with the wood.

Hmm... Maybe you should plant the larger crypt in the back? Six inches is pretty tall in a 10 gal tank. How tall will the other crypts grow?

The Mi Oya will get big as well which is why I had it on the back. The Tropica will probably get big as well which is why it I had it in the middle/back.
Now the Nevillii (or willisii) there are some species that stay small and I am/was hoping this would be the case with mine. :/

Thanx Jes but you know I have never *really* been happy with my tanks or how they look. I could setup the best tank ever period and still think something was *missing*!

The more I think about it the more I think I am going to leave things where they are and plant the new plants around according to where the hardscape is. I *might* still move that crypt in front to the left and either A. plant the C. Nevillii or *maybe* take my Dwarf Sagittaria from my 29 and put it there and put the C. Nevillii where the Dwarf Sagittaria was.

Sounds good to me! I know, I'm the same way. . .
And it does get tricky with smaller tanks - not enough room for changes! I really like your little tank, glad that you're going to leave the hard-scape as it is, and can't wait to see those lil' plants grow under your wet green thumb, lol!

So today I "stepped-up" in the world of water changes as I finally got a water changer at Petsmart (Like a Python). I have been thinking about getting one for awhile and once my wife found out what they were/are she demanded me to get one as then them "Blasted totes" would go bye-bye!! LoL So yeah I picked one up today along with a new Test kit as mine is 2 years old! O_o

*drools* I'm jealous again! You'll have to let me know how much you love it! I've been considering trading in my 'blasted totes,' too. . . only my husband had to point out that I could potentially create even MORE of a mess with a Python ;)

I got a Python when I got my bigger tank.
I'm a little disappointed with the strength of the suction, but refilling is now the easiest thing ever.
I may start to use my standard syphon for spot cleaning and use the python for volume removal.

The tank looks good, give the plants a chance to fill in and it will look great.

There is really only one tank that I need to use the actual siphoning part of the python and the rest I probably will still use a regular siphon and a tote LoL and I even told my wife this as I was buying it as I told her I wouldn't use the siphon on all of them as I didn't want to waste more water then I had too!

So I am thinking of adding more fish to this tank.
I really like Boraras Urophthalmoides and Corydoras pygmaeus. The only I have a question about is each of those species recommend having around 10 to a group. That would put the tank having a total of 23 fish in the end. Would that be too much for a 10 gallon???
