I wish you and them the best of luck. It's been such a bad year I hope it ends with winter. =( I've heard of loaches and platies having some nasty problems this year, Dalmation and Creamsicle mollies seem to be getting slapped a lot too...some types of cories as well. Haven't heard any issues with the peppered cories yet though.
One of my blue platies got Ich again! I thought I got rid of that two months ago. =-= I don't think she'll pull through, but she DOES look better after treatment, the rest of the fish either have no signs of it, or very, very few. =( Her and her sister are pregnant though, so I'm worried. I've only seen a case this bad once, and it happened overnight last night and that time. T_T Said last case that was this bad, my entire tank got wiped out before I could even get meds! But I got it this time. I wont hold out hope though, it's bad, but I admit she looks better already so maybe she'll be ok. The added stress from my girls being pregnant is what I'm worried about. Both my boys look fit as fiddles. >_>; So do my two juvenile red platy and young bumblebee. Not a spot on them, but that doesn't mean they aren't infected. x.x
I got lucky with my Dalmation Lyretails. I was told by the shop they may be beautiful and LOOK great, but they were losing entire batches at once. I took the chance and put them in QT and they pulled through with very light issues. If I recall correctly, my male, that really pretty one I showed you, he got something nasty and ended up with pop-eye and weirdness, but he got through after a few days with warmer water, salt and pimafix. =) He looked fine when I bought him, the next day he had that messed up eye I couldn't figure out if his girl injured him or not. x.x Well, I couldn't be happier with that guy though! I'm glad he didn't die, he's the prettiest Dalmation I've ever laid eyes on.
If there ARE any problems, I hope you get some good luck as well. You're very watchful, so I think those loaches will do just fine with you!
