WTB: 24" Nova 96w/or something similar

I am setting up a 10g nano and want some strong reef lighting. I want at least 6w/gal and I would prefer the 96w Nova Extreme but I am open to all offers.

I am also interested in a good RO system for the 10g. Let me know what ya got!

Thanks!bv

You may have considered this already, but what kind of lighting did you want?
(wpg isn't definitive, since for example, 6 watts of older flourescent tubes are as bright as 2W of a HO tube, and 1W of VHO...

They make actinic CFLs... May be able to find a cheaper alternative...
Or perhaps LED lighting, 450nm LEDs aren't TOO espensive and they're basically the same spectrum as actinic...

Probably power compacts, Im not real picky. I just want a little above average lighting for a good reef tank, and I will go from there.

Check dr foster's they have marineland LED and Nova Extreams on clearance. I just picked up a nova 24 for my 10 gal. It's really bright... I may reduce the wattage but their nice.

The Nova is a very nice rig and I think worth the money. I like the streamline of Marineland and that you can run the daylights and moonlights independantly and LED shimmer effect but I've read that the light output isn't very high. If I felt comfortable that the light would be enough I would have gotten the Marineland. The nova real bright and crisp... the actinic is overwelming... I may lower the wattage later.

Thanks for taking the time to write back.

I will go for that then, I go to big al's online and I saw the setup for $159.99 and I thought that was cheap. I will check F&S and see what the prices are like there too.

Thanks again!
