I know that filtered or distilled water is recommended. Some of us, not many, are blessed with relatively good water straight from the tap.
Mine has nitrates 10ppm from the tap and this does not vary much.
Once the aquaripure cycles and drops the nitrates, what will the impact of fresh water will be?
To give you an idea of what I do, I run the water into a 55 gallon rubbermaid brute and keep it @ 72 degrees. I let it sit at least a week before I use. Once a week water changes... this gives cholrine a chance to dissipate.
I will not be buying (or even making--I have a small tabletop distiller) distilled water. So, they are going to have to make do with the tap water.
Still, what is the impact?
