I want to get a 75 Gallon Tank and have the following:
6 Fancy Goldfish
3 Bristlenose Plecos
3 Weather Dojos
maybe another fish: may be overstocking even further (i said MAYBE)
Malysian Trumpet Snails
Heavilly Planted low light compatible plants: Hornwort, Vals, Javas, etc..
Eheim Cannister Filter 2217, and "maybe" Aquaclear 110 (no chemical filters, only mech and biological, but if purchasing, remove the biological later on)
Here are my questions
1) That said, how will the Aquapure help me, specially in terms of water changes? For such a tank, i was recommended to do weekly 50% water changes (considering the fish, but not the effect of the plants on cleaning).
2) Wont i still have to siphon the fish "wastes" from the bottom, pls note the dirtyness of goldfish?
3) How will these bacteria affect the plants. Plants need amonia. Will there be food left for the Plants that do part of the job of cleaning fish waste?
4) Will this help an overstocked tank
I would not buy the Aquapure right away after setting up my tank, however, i want to consider this depending on actual benefits for very dirty fish such as Goldfish.
Thanks in advance
