Anyone try moving flow controller to supply side?

Since the outflow side is prone to get the bacteria build up, if you moved the flow control valve to the supply side of the reactor then the control valve might be less prone to get the white gunk build up.

Of course the control valve would be more prone to particulate at that point going into the filter.

Anyone try that?
