My 3 favorites are Black Ghost knife, spotted climbing perch, and South American leaf fish.

I gotta go with the Bowfin as my first choice. They are so aggressive you could lose a hand
My second choice, definitely the silver arowana. Kickass fish if you ask me
Third choice, arapaima. They get sooooooo huge.

The only one popping off the top of my head is the asian arrowana. sooo pretty.

My favourite would be the freshwater stingrays! My dream tank would be to own a breeding pair, however that won't happen anything soon. I don't think my parents would be happy with my if a got a 10ft x 10ft x 2 ft tank going in the house! It will have to wait.

My other favourite ancients would the bichirs/rope fish and then my other fav would be the knifes...
(However i wouldn't say no to a nice arowana either! )

I've never had any problems with 'Impulse Buying'. They're just animals that I forgot I had planned to get.
