Too many ghost knives?

Hi there guys my name is Antonis and i live in Cyprus(Europe). I have a 200 ltr tank(55gl i think?) with plenty of driftwood and hiding places inside, with an external hydor prime 30 filtration and i just finished cycling my tank to 0.0 mg of NO2's, PH of 7.5 , and gh of 10. I really like ghost's so i decided to put 4 in my tank sized 10cm's each. They currently live with 2 blue spotted gouramis that are frightened to hell and i don't see them that often don't know why!)My question is: Did i put too many BGK's in my tank?
They're very beautiful to watch and they make a great addition to my tank, 2 of them tend to fight once in a while but nothing serious i think and i was just wondering what's the best thing to do with these fellas. I'm currently waiting for a fire eel 20-25cm sized to arrive anyday now so and i already placed a 70cm pipe in the tank for him so i don't think he will hurt the BGK's. What's your opinion?
Your promt reply will be highly appreciated. Any extra info needed please let me know
Antonis

One BGK will eventually outgrow a 55g, so 4 defintelly will and my guess is the eel will also outgrow the 55g, however, I am now sure how quick they grow. BGKs grow slow, so it will be awhile before you would have to think about getting a larger aquarium to accomodate their size. To answer your actual question about too many BGKs, this is a definite yes in my opinion, if you had a bigger tank they might be okay, but a 55 is not big enough; I have 1 and he was recently moved from my 55 to my hubby's 120 since he started picking on my angels. Hope this helps.

Linkin- I am just going to start off saying i don't know anything about these fish, so i can't help you there. But thank you for being responsible and returning the fish. So many people will keep them just because they like them, no matter what is better for the fish. So thank you! you made my day

and good luck with your tanks, present and future.

Good job on returning two of the BGK's!!! Two in the tank is much better and I am sure they will love their bigger home once you get it built. I wish there were more responsible pet owners (of all types, fish, dogs, cats, etc.) like you in the world!!
