Is this a tiretrack eel?

Bought this yesterday going by what the fish store told me instead of researching properly. I guess they get too big for my aquarium and just wanted to verify the species before I take it back. Now that I have read up some on it I may look for a zig zag or some sort of smaller eel like fish. Just worried about feeding with my corys, shrimp, and loaches in the tank, its like a feeding frenzy when the food goes in.

Any suggestion on species or whether they would get a share of food in my tank would be great.

It looks like a tiretrack.

I have two stripped peacock eels. The nice thing about them is they max out at 11-12 inches. They can be some pickey eaters though. Mine will only eat blackworms. I use am eye dropper to squirt food to them. The blackworms will also live in the tank, so I think the eels dig them out of the gravel at night.
They are said to eat shrimp, but I had some in my tank with them for a long time, they did not eat them.
