i bought a senegal bichir , i have had it for 2 days and it just wont feed, i have put earthworms, woodlice, flake food and some pieces of fish meat but it just wont eat anything, it is about 7 inches now and just seems to swim around ignoring the food ,could he just of not settled in yet?
don't worry too much about him not feeding at this stage, if however after 1 week you still havn't viewed him eat
i'd try fresh/frozen prawn soaked in garlic guard http://www.seachem.com/support/FAQs/GarlicGuard_faq.html
or live river shrimp.
Mine feeds on Shrimp Pellets and frozen bloodworms.
