I was going by a lfs today on the way home from a trip and saw a Goby I really liked. It was kept with freshwater fish, but I know many of them are actually brackish species. It was labeled as a Pearl Goby, and I thought maybe I'd have a lick of a chance that it was an actual name. Shame on me. No such thing as a Pearl Goby that I can find online. The guy said they have them in regularly, so I could probably get one if I wanted to go all the way back up there.
My question is: Are all gobies either brackish or saltwater? I want to find out now, so I can first decide if I want to do a brackish setup. I seriously doubt it's a freshwater species, if there are any at all, but it was such a nice fish and it was only three dollars... Oy, I should have just grabbed it. I hate it when I do things I know I'll regret.
