Puffers "puff?"

I was wondering if dwarf puffers actually puff up, or do they just swim around looking super cute all the time?

they do puff but under extreme stress and it can hurt them alot is what i read

they puff in display to each other over teritory the sort of flatten out so from the side they look round :D my male does it alot
