One of my Bichir's knotty belly...

isn't going away. At first I thought it was just a full belly. both sides were filled out and somewhat buldgy, one side seeming more knotty then the other. Now the full looking side has gone down but the other side is still knotty. Anyone have ideas if this is a normal state...although none of the others have this. Could it have swallowed gravel???!!!......while scarfing down a shrimp pellet???? Surely not, I watch these guys (& gals?) chew their food. Help!

possible to have swallowed a piece of gravel but mine has spit out gravel before when he grab it. Since then i have changed out the gravel to black sand.

My Bichir's (Dino) belly knot is going down

Dino's belly knot is going down and I think it's because at this moment it's pooping. So maybe that was just waste waiting to be expelled???!! I don't know, just glad it's not gravel.
