Are you referring to senegal bichirs or other species of bichirs?

Senegal bichirs are predatory but that does not mean they are aggressive. Senegal bichirs are far from aggressive. A 55g will suit two of them just fine. Make sure they are of equal size otherwise the smaller one may risk being eaten by the larger one. Bichirs will eat anything that fits their mouth.

Be careful mixing plecos and bichirs together. Some plecos love to suck the bichirs' slime coat. I would advise against combining them with common plecos.

Polypterus ornatipinnis? You're supposed to know the fish you are keeping.
