Question looking for an ancient fish to put in a 75 gallon

i have a severum, some angels, and some bleeding heart tetras. are there any knife fish, eels, or bichirs that could go in this set up? If so which ones?

You could try 1 african knife.

Bleeding heart tetras are a little on the small side to go with big predatory fish. Knife fish are gonna need dim lighting or lots of floating plants to dim the lighting.

Brown ghost knife would work well if you can provide everything needed for it, assuming the severum isn't aggressive. Not BLACK ghost knife. Those grow considerably larger then brown ghosts knifes.

Senegals will eat ANYTHING that fits in their mouth, but other then that should work depending on the numbers of angels.

Didnt you originally have it as a severum, a blue acara, and giant danios? What about switching to a larger type of rainbow from giant danios and adding the senegal to that. Should give you good range of water levels, good colors, and the larger fish you wanted. Though the angels i have are some of the friendliest fish.

I would second the motion of getting a Brown Knife.

The rainbows are for looks (at least imo) they look better then danios. Rainbows range in size depending on the species you get
